My 1964 Falcon Hardtop

That's Me!

I'm just a middle-aged, divorced, computer engineer with 2 great kids.  Really, nothing special about me.  I do have a talent for fixing things.  Born and raised here in Georgia but I spent some time in the Carolinas and Texas.  Graduated from DeVry in 1982 started my wonderful career in computers.

Back in 1989 I met what I thought was the girl of my dreams.  Married her, had two boys and she decided I was no longer good enough.  She was probably right.  I can fix a lot of things but I couldn't fix my marriage.  So she left and I spend my time working and playing with my Falcon.  Of course, I spend time with my boys whenever they want to see me.  Not the kind of life I wanted but hey, I did it to myself.

I love classic cars no matter which company made them.  And I like anything from hot rods and customs to showroom stock.  My hobby developed out of need.  When I was 16 I didn't have much.  I worked hard at summer jobs for the money to buy an old truck.  I ended up with my brother's broken down 1962 Nova.  Don't ask, it still makes me angry to this day!  I had no money for shops and mechanics.  It was me, a handful of tools and Mr Underwood's junk yard up the road.  God Rest Mr. Underwood, he was a saving angel to most of the teenagers around.

This Falcon will probably be my last project car.  It's just getting harder to turm those wrenches.  And I really need to put the money into retirement.  Hopefully, I'll have my Falcon done in time to drive it to the retirement home!

Let me know you dropped by.
